CM Punk Meeting with Tony Khan

hasn't been on AEW television since the All Out Media Scrum incident took place on September 4th, 2022. Many fans and even some talent were upset by the fact that AEW suspended The Elite, and did not offer a suspension to CM Punk, who instead was out nursing an injury.

It has been rumored over the past week or so that CM Punk is inching his way closer to a return to All Elite Wrestling. Considering the events that unfolded at All Out, back in September many believed that we've seen the last of CM Punk.

Fightful Select reported on April 13th, that the wheels were in motion for a CM Punk return to All Elite Wrestling followed by AEW announcing that Dynamite will be airing live from the WinTrust Arena in Chicago on June 21st.

On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer now states that a meeting between CM Punk, , , and is expected to take place relatively soon. One thing interesting to note here is missing names from that meeting appear to be members of The Elite, who reportedly are against a CM Punk return to the company.

There is a meeting soon and involves Chris Jericho, Tony Khan, CM Punk, FTR, and there may be others in there as well. That's coming up. I guess the idea is to resolve everything or attempt to resolve everything,”

It's going to be interesting. Tony Khan wants Punk back, to be the star of the Saturday show and it's probably…I'm pretty sure it's going to happen,
