CM Punk AEW Return

's return to professional wrestling was slated to take place with the debut of All Elite Wrestlings' new show, Collision, but apparently, the card is subject to change.

Public announcement of All Elite Wrestlings' new show which is slated to air on Saturday nights beginning next month, came out today. CM Punk's name had appeared in WBD press release which was sent out via email this morning, which led to much speculation again that CM Punk would be apart of AEW Collision, which coincides with the reports that AEW had created a separate show to house people willing to work with Punk, and another to keep those who do not wish to work with Punk separated.

However, in a twist, a statement released by WBD to Comic Book today revealed the following:

CM Punk is not affiliated with TNT's AEW Collision.

Fightful Select reported the following:

WBD released a statement claiming that Punk was “not affiliated with AEW Collision,” but as of today, we're told that there are still plans with CM Punk. Punk was actively included in the press release and was removed by this morning. We're told that there were “active content plans with Punk as of this week,” though it was noted that as with anything else, that can change.

We'll have more on this story as it continues to develop.
