Matt Jackson provides an injury update

and his brother Nick Jackson have been written off AEW television since last month, at the hands of the Blackpool Combat Club. This was due to an injury suffered by Matt Jackson, a partial tear to his bicep.

Matt Jackson appeared on the April 12th episode of AEW Dynamite to help fend off members of The Blackpool Combat Club. This led to speculation that The Young Bucks could be back sooner rather than later.

Matt Jackson has decided to put off surgery to repair his partially torn bicep and is pursuing other methods of treatment in hopes of having a quick recovery time. The Young Bucks wrestled their last match on March 15th, 2023, where they lost to the House Of Black and The Jericho Appreciation Society.

Matt Jackson gave us a bit of an update on the latest episode of Being The Elite. Jackson stated the following:

Usually, at the end of the loop, we all drive home together. This week, I have to go head back to [Los Angeles] and get some more shockwave therapy on my arm. It's feeling pretty good, though, all things considered … I felt like I could wrestle after last night,” said Jackson.
