In an Epic battle, Cody Rhodes and Brock Lensar closed out WWE Backlash 2023 in front of a sold-out, amazingly energetic crowd in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Brock Lesnar delivered around 8 different variants of a Suplex to Cody, Cody hit Lesnar with the cross-Rhodes on two occasions, and neither was able to put the other away at this point.
Brock Lesnar became busted open the hard way after connecting head-first with an exposed turnbuckle. Lesnar regained control of the match locking The American Nightmare in a Kimura Lock, which looked very painful for Rhodes, however, he was able to roll Brock over and pin his shoulders down to the mat for the three count.
